TV Catering

Plated entree with roasted vegetables from Off The Shelf catering for a TV production set in Los Angeles

ON-SET SINCE 2003

Off The Shelf has been catering television productions across Los Angeles since 2003. Whether it’s a multi-week episodic shoot or a single-day pilot, our truck and crew show up on set ready to feed the full cast and crew, with fresh, seasonal menus for breakfast and lunch built around your call sheet. Over more than 20 years on television sets, we’ve learned how to keep a production fed and on schedule, episode after episode, season after season.

SOME OF THE PRODUCTIONS WE’VE CATERED FOR

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia · South Park · 30 Rock · Young Sheldon · Black-ish · Chopped · Last Week Tonight · NBC Olympics · Good Mythical Morning · Drunk History

MEAL SERVICE, BUILT AROUND YOUR SCHEDULE

Most TV productions book us for breakfast and lunch, though we run a lunch and dinner schedule for multi-camera tapings with a later call time, and anything else the shooting schedule calls for. Breakfast is served short-order style straight off the truck, so cast and crew eat what they want when they hit set, instead of working around a fixed buffet window before the first shot of the day.

Once you’re booked, you’re paired with one of our chefs to build a menu around your production. Vegan options and accommodations for special dietary needs and requests are part of that process from the start, not something bolted on after the fact.

We work across Los Angeles-area soundstages, backlots, and practical locations, and we cater everything from a single-camera drama to a multi-camera comedy, a live taping, or a competition and talk format. Our credits include It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, South Park, Good Mythical Morning, and Drunk History. The same truck and crew that show up for a season-long series show up just as ready for a single-day pilot, episode after episode, season after season.
